【後進指導】ジュリアード音楽院　公式発表

2025年4月17日 音楽教育機関の最高峰の一つとして世界的に名高いジュリアード音楽院から、今秋より五嶋みどりが大学部門の弦楽器科教員として迎えられることが発表されました。 五嶋は「秋からジュリアード音楽院で迎える新しい学生たち、そしてこれまで通りカーティス音楽院の学生たちと共に学べることを、心より楽しみにしています」とコメントしました。

Midori to join Juilliard faculty

It was announced today that Midori will join the College Division string faculty at New York’s Juilliard School from the beginning of the fall semester. She will continue to work with her students at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

Heute wurde bekannt gegeben, dass Midori mit Beginn des Herbstsemesters der Streicherfakultät der College Division der New Yorker Juilliard School beitreten wird. Sie wird weiterhin mit ihren Studenten am Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia arbeiten.

五嶋みどり アーティスト・ティーチャー・アワードを受賞

2025年3月25日 五嶋みどりは、献身的な社会貢献活動と先駆的な教育プロジェクトが高く評価され、2025年度全米弦楽指導者協会（ASTA）のアーティスト・ティーチャー・アワードを受賞しました。 五嶋は受賞に際し、「教育は私の人生とキャリアを支える柱の一つです。これまでに培った知識を共有し、それぞれの芸術的表現を見つける手助けをすることで、未来の音楽家たちの意欲を高められると信じています」とコメントを発表しました。
